Dear Reader,

The United States is a nation of builders. In just 250 years — a blink in history — our people built the greatest nation ever, and accomplished the most dazzling feats imaginable. We built revolutionary institutions, traversed a continent, conquered the skies, planted our flag on the Moon, and made hundreds of millions of people wealthier than any people in history. It's the greatest story on (and off) Earth.

Arena is the magazine of the Great American Story and the people building it. For me, it's the magazine I always wanted, printed in full color on the most beautiful paper, with inspiring writing to remind us of what's possible.

Our mission is "American Propaganda" because we simply don't compromise about being on America's side, and on the side of people who do big things in America. These days, that's sadly a unique mission in the world of the media, which is full of clickbait, hit-pieces, and hysteria.

Arena is trying to do something different: we publish great writing, on paper; and we're rooting for the builders. Full stop.

Arena is for technologists and capitalists. It's for adults and for kids, professionals and students. It's for builders and those who want to build something. Most importantly, Arena is for Americans who believe in those ideas, regardless of where they live or work. Arena is for you!
